PORCELAIN TILES
The PORC+ is ideal for drilling porcelain tiles up to a scratch hardness of 8. The unique 4-face point grinding extends the drill bit life. The diamond ground PORC+ cuts nice, clean holes with very little or no chipping.

DRILL BITS RECOMMENDED FOR PORCELAIN (HARD) TILE

For best results follow these directions:

Operate Drill Motor between 400-600 RPM’s (higher speeds will damage bit, reducing the number of holes bit can effectively drill.)
First drill a small hole with a 5/32" bit and then use a larger bit depending on hole required (3/16", 1/4", 5/16", or 3/8").
To extend the life of the bit, let it cool down for several minutes between each hole.
Use some pressure during drilling; however, too much pressure can make the bit move and cause the hole not to be centered as marked. (Pressure could also cause the tile to break.)
