This statement of policy is in lieu of any other policy expressed or implied, and no representative or person is authorized to assume for us any other liability or policy without our written consent. Stenographic and clerical errors are subject to correction.

Sales Terms

The below mentioned terms apply to all payments to ARTU-USA, unless other terms have been accepted in writing by ARTU-USA. Term discounts should not be taken off freight charges.
Net 30 from invoice date to firms with approved credit. We reserve the right to charge 1½% interest per month on past due balances. New orders will not be shipped while there is an open invoice 10 days past due date, based on stated credit terms. Prices and policies are subject to change with a 30 day prior notice. All orders will be invoiced at prices in effect at the time of the order.

Credit

Companies that have not established credit with our company should allow a sufficient period of time to obtain proper credit information. Please be sure to provide complete credit information, bank and three trade references, with your first order. A credit application is available on this web site. If orders are needed immediately, COD terms can be arranged.

Billing

Invoices are dated effective upon the shipping date from ARTU-USA. There is a surcharge for orders under $50.00.

Cancellation of Orders

A charge may be made for work or costs already incurred by the factory in acting upon the original order. There will be a 15% restocking fee on all shipped cancelled orders, plus incurred freight.
If the order has been shipped, a cancellation is not possible, but the products may be accepted for credit return in accordance with ARTU-USA credit return policy. The buyer will be responsible for paying the freight charges on the returned items.

Back Orders

Products not immediately available for shipment will be back ordered and shipped as soon as available, unless we are advised by the customer to cancel back order. Shipping and handling will be charged on the initial invoice, if applicable, with back orders shipped prepaid FOB destination.

Credit Return Policy

No merchandise may be returned without a RA from ARTU-USA Sales Department. ARTU-USA reserves the right to scrap any unauthorized returns on a non-credit basis. Each claim must include a copy of original invoice indicating quantity of each item to be returned. Authorization codes can be obtained by calling: 1-800-FOR-ARTU (1-800-367-2788).
The following further conditions apply: A. Products must have been purchased within six months from credit return date. B. Merchandise must be in original factory sealed cartons or packaging and be in a perfect salable condition. C. No discontinued items may be returned for credit or exchange at anytime. D. There will be a 15% restocking fee on all shipped orders plus incurred freight.

Special Charges

Any product requiring repacking is subject to an additional 15% charge against the credit return.

Freight Policy

All freight for merchandise will be shipped FOB factory. Orders that meet established requirements will be freight prepaid. There will be a handling charge for orders that do not meet the freight prepaid requirements. Back orders will be shipped prepaid. Note: This policy applies only to orders shipped within the continental United States.

Literature

Promotional materials will be routinely provided by ARTU-USA. Additional quantities of these sales aids are available upon requests. The distributor agrees to protect and abide by all registered trademarks of ARTU-USA.

Claims

Claims for shortages must be presented within five working days from receipt of shipment. Freight damage claims and freight shortages should be filed directly with the carrier within seven days of receipt of shipment. No liability will be accepted for damages directly or indirectly caused from the use of our products or from any other cause or if items were altered from original form. Our liability shall be limited to the repair and/or replacement of our products, at our option if found to be defective.

Limited Warranty

ARTU-USA warrants to replace at no charge any defective products proved to have failed due to faulty materials or workmanship. This warranty does not cover abuse, normal wear, or careless handling and is void if the product has been altered in any way. No other warranty is expressed or implied.
